Our expert local English speaking guides will take you to villages providing interpretation of the culture. We'll stay in local guesthouses, go to remote villages and hidden valleys, and immerse ourselves in authentic personal encounters. We'll take a look at Bhutanese art forms such as thangka painting, textile weaving, woodcarving, and papermaking. Often you will witness the art forms and creations of Bhutanese artisans. You will attend and participate in two festivals, where the Bhutanese gather at annual celebrations wearing their finest clothes and jewelry while dance rituals will be performed in colorful dress and masks.
